Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort is generally used to connect a Mini DisplayPort laptop to a standard DisplayPort monitor or HDTV. The DisplayPort connection was designed to replaced older connection standards such as DVI and VGA while providing higher resolution and digital performance through computing, digital displays and consumer electronics. With the announcement of the Mini DisplayPort in October of 2008 by Apple, other industry leaders have adopted to the new interface, companies such as HP, Dell, ASUS, Toshiba, and Lenovo. Our cable is built to DisplayPort 1.2 standards and supports resolutions up to 4K.
