Listings on this website are not an offer to sell goods; rather they are advertisements to receive offers. As all prices are subject to change, your order may not be accepted or we may have to communicate price changes or availability issues to you after you place your order.

STC strives for accuracy in all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information contained herein or referenced on our Web site. Due to human error and other determinates we cannot guarantee that all item descriptions, photographs, compatibility references, detailed specifications, pricing, links and any other product-related information listed is entirely accurate, complete or current, nor can we assume responsibility for these errors. In the event a product listed on our website is labeled with an incorrect price due to some typographical, informational, technical or other error, STC shall at its sole discretion have the right to refuse and/or cancel any order for said product and immediately amend, correct and/or remove the inaccurate information whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, STC shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. Additionally, all hyperlinks to other websites from STC are provided as resources to customers looking for additional information and/or professional opinion. STC does not assume responsibility for the claims and/or representations made on these or any other websites.
Order Acceptance Policy
Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. STC reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason. STC reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order, without prior notice to you, to supply less than the quantity you ordered of any item. All orders placed over $1000.00 (USD) must obtain pre-approval with an acceptable method of payment, as established by our credit and fraud avoidance department. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order.
Bundled items are included while supplies last. Items of similar or greater value may be substituted.
- All hardware sales are final after 7 days with 30 days limited warranty. No exchange or return after 7 days; CPU parts have 15 days warranty. All warranties are effective from the date of original invoice. Any alterations, modifications, additions, improvements, installation, attachments, or detachment on the product(s) are not returnable. All returns must be in a resalable condition. All software, computer games, and Xbox games, and Playstation2 games sales are final. No exchange or returns are allowed.
- No cancellations, refunds, returns, or exchanges on special order items. Deposit for system order, shipping and handling charge, store credits, service charge, installation charge, and labor charge are not refundable.
- A 5% restocking fee will be applied to all returns for refund. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Refund is paid in the same manner as original method of payment, except debit transaction will be refund in check. Refund check will be mailed 14 business days from the date of return.
- Any systems, laptops, monitors, printers, opened retail items, special ordered items return to STC, will be refunded less any shipping charges and a restocking fee of 25%.
STC ships items in the condition they were received from the original manufacturer/distributor. STC does not conduct product testing before shipping any merchandise In the event that you do receive a product that is defective, you will still be responsible for any return shipping costs.
- All returns require a Return Authorization number to be issued prior to being returned. Returned products must be in new condition, include original outer packaging, all disks, registration cards, inner packing materials and other accessories and be received within 15 days of the date shipped. We reserve the right to refuse for return or charge a restocking fee for damaged, incomplete or otherwise non-conforming returns. Returns will not be accepted without a Return Authorization number issued by STC or when the product manufactures or distributors return policies supersede ours.
- $25 fee for each returned check. STC charges $30 fee plus 2% per month interest for late payment. Buyer agrees to pay all collection expense, including but not limited to attorneys fee and court expense.
- Should Buyer experiences any discrepancy in the shipment or delivery, Buyer must contact STC within 48 hours from the date of receipt; otherwise Buyer waives all claims regarding missing contents of the purchase.
No warranty will be issued to any merchandise, which has been modified or damaged by the Buyer. Defective merchandises, caused by the misuse or neglect from the Buyer are not insured by the warranty. STC are not responsible for any misuse, modification, or damages incurred to Buyer’s equipment or malfunction resulting from an improper installation.
Physical damage to any product purchased at STC will effectively void warranty coverage. Improper Installation of CPU fans and/or improper clocking may cause CPUs to chip. CPUs that are chipped, burnt or have bent pins are considered physically damaged and cannot be returned for refund or replacement. Physical damage includes but is not limited to improper handling and/or any other type of damage sustained by irregular usage. STC encounters bent pins regularly when inspecting physically damaged CPUs. Forcing a processor into position will not solve an installation problem and may consequently void any applicable warranty coverage. Intel and AMD will not accept physically damaged processors back from STC. As a result, STC will return any physically damaged CPU back to the customer at the customer’s expense.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall STC or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates is liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages including but not limited to loss of use, loss of data, loss of business or profits.
Your order is thoroughly reviewed to ensure that the order is accurate, the payment method is valid, and you are authorized to use this payment method. Once your order has passed the rigorous review, it is sent to our warehouse for shipment. You can expect your order to be processed within approximately 24-48 hours, provided the items are in stock and there are no problems with payment verification. STC does not guarantee same day-shipping. Orders are not processed on weekends and holidays.
We do not charge your credit or debit card until your order is shipped, however we do attempt to get an authorization on your card for the amount of your order at the time your order is placed. This authorization is not a charge but still may utilize a portion of your credit limit or available funds making those funds or portion of your credit limit unavailable for other use. In the unlikely event that your order is delayed or cancelled the authorization will expire and your credit limit or available funds will again become available for use. The amount of time it takes for an authorization to expire is dependant on the policies of the bank that issued your card and ranges from 1 to 7 business days.
Please note, credit card processing can take up to 3 business days (Depending on the accuracy of the information given to us by the customer.). Further, for security reasons, voice or written confirmation may be required before we can process your credit card for payment.
If the item(s) on your order are in-stock, we will ship them as soon as possible from our warehouse. If the item(s) on your order are out of stock, they will not be shipped until we have received and processed the backordered inventory in our warehouse.
SHIPPING AND HANDLING
Our customer-friendly shipping schedule is calculated on the ACTUAL WEIGHT or DIMENSIONAL WEIGHT of your shipment and the TYPE OF SHIPPING SERVICE that you specify (ground, air or overnight). Shipping and handling charges will be applied to all orders placed with us. If your order must be shipped in multiple boxes, or in separate shipments in the event an item is not in stock and must ship at a later date, shipping and handling charges for the entire order will be assessed at the point when the first item is shipped. We charge only ONCE for shipping and handling, for the entire order. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding these charges, feel free to email us.
- Risk of loss
STC will arrange for shipment of ordered product(s) to the Buyer, Free On Board (F.O.B.) shipping point, meaning title to the product(s) — excepting software– and risk of loss passes to the Buyer upon delivery to the carrier. STC reserves a purchase money security interest in the product(s) until its receipt of the full amount due. Buyer agrees to allow STC to sign appropriate documents on Buyer’s behalf to permit STC to protect its purchase money security interest. Title to software will remain with the licensor(s). All software is provided subject to the license agreement of the software maker. Buyer agrees to be bound by any software license agreement once the seal on the package is broken. STC will advise Buyer of estimated shipping dates, but STC will, under no circumstances, be responsible for delays in delivery, and associated damages, due to events beyond its reasonable control, including without limitation, acts of God or public enemy, acts of federal, state or local government, fire, floods, civil disobedience, strikes, lockouts, and freight embargoes.
- Export regulations
If this transaction involves an export under the U.S. export regulations, the commodities, technology and/or software sold or distributed under these terms and conditions of sale exported from the United States by STC were exported in accordance with such regulations. Diversion, use, export or re-export contrary to United States law is prohibited. The commodities, technology and/or software sold or distributed under these terms and conditions of sale may not be exported or re-exported to Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Sudan, North Korea or Syria or to entities and persons that are ineligible under United States law to receive United States commodities, technology and/or software. In addition, manufacturers’ warranties for exported products may vary or may be null and void for products exported outside the United States.
Buyer may request that an order be cancelled provided the order has not already been processed and shipped. Simply call 1-619-444-9469 during STC’s hours of operation to request an order cancellation. Buyer will receive a credit for the full amount to your credit/debit card in approximately 1-7 business days. We strongly discourage sending order cancellation requests via email because it is unlikely we will receive the message in time to void the order.
Buyer may request a change to your order provided the order has not already been charged to your account. Please call 1-619-444-9469 during STC’s hours of operation to request a change to your order. Please have your sales order ready for better assistance. We strongly discourage sending change order requests via email because it is unlikely we will receive the message in time to make an adjustment.
AGREEMENT TO RESOLVE ALL DISPUTES THROUGH ARBITRATION OR IN SMALL CLAIMS COURT AND AGREEMENT TO WAIVE A RIGHT TO JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATION IN CLASS ACTIONS
Buyer and STC agree to resolve any controversy, dispute, or claim arising out of or relating to your purchase of any product or service from STC by binding Arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, or in a small claims court, and judgment on the arbitration award rendered by the Arbitrator(s) may be entered in a court having competent jurisdiction. This agreement to arbitrate is intended to be broadly interpreted and covers all controversies, disputes, claims arising out or relating to your purchase including, but not limited to contract claims, tort claims and statutory claims, or any combination of claims. We agree that the arbitration or small claim proceeding will take place in San Diego, California. Each party involved will bear its own cost of any legal representation, discovery or research required to complete arbitration.
We agree that the American Arbitration Association shall administer the arbitration, and that the American Arbitration Association’s Commercial Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures and Consumer Related Disputes Supplementary Procedures, if applicable, shall apply. These Arbitration Rules may be found on the American Arbitration Association’s web site at www.adr.org . Buyer and STC agree that the Arbitration Award maybe taken to a Court of competent jurisdiction to become an enforceable judgment. Buyer and STC agree that any arbitration under this Agreement will take place on an individual basis. Class arbitrations and class actions are not permitted.
If Buyer wishes to begin arbitration against STC you must file a case with the American Arbitration Association. Buyer may visit the American Arbitration Association’s web site at www.adr.org to obtain forms and guidance and to learn the procedure for filing a case under this Arbitration Agreement.
This Arbitration Agreement affects you legal rights. An arbitration is resolved by a neutral party and not a judge or jury. There is less discovery and less exchange of information between the parties to an arbitration than might occur in a court proceeding. An arbitration award is final and binding and will only be overturned or reversed by a court in very limited circumstances. Buyer agrees that, by entering into this Agreement, Buyer and STC are each waiving the right to a trial by jury or to participate in a class action.
